So we don’t wanna brag, but Jacques was ranked 1st place in the tandem class

Paragliding pilots from all over the country as well as a few foreign pilots, tandem and solo, gather in Barberton for the annual Barberton Paragliding Open. Over seven days the pilots show off their skills and have lots of fun. Different challenging tasks are set up for each day. One day was cancelled due to strong winds, but 6 days of competitive flying is no easy task.
Maximum distance flown was on day 7, GPS distance was 57kms.
Below is an example of the task for day 7, wow the 57kms is certainly not flown in a straight line.
Watching a paragliding competition is breath taking, the sky filled with so many paragliders is magical.
